CREATIVE GUIDE

Hi, welcome to myChurch Creative! We're so excited to have you as a part of our team and do this journey together. We would love for you to take time to read through this page, it contains essential information that will help you understand what it means to be part of the team.

P.S. This is meant to be used as a guide (not a set of rules), so don't stress and please ask questions along the way !!!

What is Creative?

Creative encompasses many areas such as production (audio, lighting, broadcast, logistics), media (design, capture, video, social media), promotions, worship and much more! Together we make up the Creative team of myChurch.

Expectations

First Five: We believe that serving is all about putting other people first. We believe in being an outward focused and inclusive team, that’s why we spend our first 5 minutes before and after service connecting with people that we do not already know.

Build a strong relationship with Jesus: You cannot lead our church where you haven’t been yourself. Grow in your relationship with God constantly so that we can better serve our church through creative arts.

Be On Time: Be excellent in your arrival times. The scheduled times are created to provide enough prep time. If you are unable to serve during your scheduled time please contact your Team Lead

Own Your Art Form: God deserves our best. Practice with excellence so we can focus on leading people to Jesus!

Attend All Team Meeting: All Team Meetings happen Sunday mornings at 9:30. They are a chance to come together as a team and rally around Sunday as well as a chance to hear from our team on God’s Word, culture and leadership.

Communication

Planning Centre We use an online program called Planning Centre, for all our rosters, service info, team communication, and to share resources with our team. It works on Desktops and Mobiles (download the app for iPhone or Android)

Outside of scheduling, all of our teams communicate in different ways based on the team's needs.
